Disaster on Ice

Ouch. In a word, that describes tonight’s game between the Pittsburgh Penguins and the Boston Bruins. It was the first game with our new star Marian Hossa, and we were all ready to see what he could do.

The short version: Boston dominated the entire game, Pens lost 5 – 1, and worst of all, Hossa was injured halfway through the game and will be out for at least a week.

If the Pens had won tonight, they would have moved up into first place in the Eastern Conference, so I figured that they might do their usual thing when in this situation and choke. I just didn’t think that they were going to have the mother of all chokes. As I said… ouch.
