I’m watching this show on Fox. It’s supposed to be like the Daily Show or something. I guess I’m live blogging it.
Rush as President and Ann Coulter as VP? Jinkies.
How lame is the laugh track? I feel like I’m watching the Flintstones or Happy Days.
ok ok… so there’s an audience.
Actually, I’m not sure. The cutaways showed an audience. But laughs are so phony…. and way overdone.
Ok…. ACLU and Nazi phony commercial. Not bad.
I have to admit. I’m not a regular Daily Show or Colbert Report viewer, so I can’t do a direct comparison, but this show sucks.
Nice Philly based comic Dom Irera is on. He’s defending selling of Che Guevara tee-shirts. Maybe there’s some hope. Chairman Mao shirts “Ask about our One-Baby Policy.” Ahmadinejad shirt… “Shiite Happens.” The Idi Amin shirts not selling well. “People : The Other White Meat.” Kim Jong Il, on the best selling shirt “No Fat Chicks.” That wasn’t a bad skit. More Dom, less of those two other people.
Six Degrees of Global Warming with a gameshow host / climatologist… any problem can be traced to global warming in six steps or less. Not really that funny.
Now an ACLU pregnant cocaine mother ad. Feh.
Apparently Ed Begley Jr was supposed to show up but had some tragic misadventures on his way to the show.
This show needs to go away, lest liberals think that conservatives aren’t funny.
They couldn’t find right-wing comics to write this show? Dennis Miller still contracted to CNBC? There must be a 1,001 funny conservative bloggers out there. Scott Ott from Scrappleface and Ace from Ace of Spades HQ for two.
In short, it’s the first show, but it sucked. I much prefer Red-Eye, Fox’s “blog on TV” which shows at 2 am on weeknights with Greg Gutfield. Far better.
The next show about the Anna Nicole Smith affair strikes me as funnier. Zsa Zsa Gabor’s Royal Gay Husband could be the father? You can’t write comedy like that.

I guess I don’t watch much television. This is horrible. I would NEVER watch this again. The best was the first 15 seconds. What a disappointment..
