Election Prediction 08

I was going to a prediction post sooner or later…. but this morning I came across Ed Morrissey’s at HotAir.

It looks about right to me.

McCain 273 – Obama 265
.

Maybe we’ll pick up NH as a cherry on top. It’s going to rain all day in Virginia, keeping liberal Democrats in the DC suburbs away. That will be close.

There will be rending of garments and much disappointment, but John McCain and Sarah Palin will be inaugurated in January 2007.

Dems retain their majorities in the House and Senate and perhaps expand the Senate to “just under” 60 votes.

Statewide:
Attorney General Corbett is re-elected and Treasurer & Auditor races go the same as the Presidential Candidate winner. In my prediction, Ellis & Beiler win.

Congress:
Russell & Baretta defeat the incumbent Democrats… the rest of the incumbents stay.

Legislative:
The one vote Republican lead in the State House expands to perhaps three. ;)
