Obamessiah Must Not Be Questioned! April 17 2008
Via Michelle Malkin, the nutroots are furious that ABC had the gall to ask Barack Obama some tough questions about his associations. Heaven forbid we actually vet a man who is running for President of the United States! Who cares if he might be good friends with a terrorist? We don’t need to look into that. After all, he’s for hope. And change!
“That was the roll-out of the Republican campaign against me in November. That is what they will do,” Obama said. “They will try to focus on all these issues that don’t have anything to do with how you pay your bills at the end of the month.”
The leftist bloggers are all in a kerfluffle since ABC News hosts Charlie Gibson and George Stephanopoulos didn’t stick to the same old script, asking Obama about his healthcare plan, or about what he plans to do in Iraq. You know – the same crap we’ve already heard from him about a thousand times. Instead, Obama was asked about his relationships with hate-preacher Jeremiah Wright and domestic terrorist Bill Ayers. Blasphemy!
What I want to know is, where was this leftist demand to talk about issues back in 2006 when Bob Casey was running ads taking quotes out of context from Rick Santorum’s book and using them to attack him personally? Where was this leftist demand to talk about issues when liberals across PA made a huge deal out of it that Santorum dared to move his family with him to DC so that he could see them every day without having to drive for four hours or take a plane? Where was this leftist demand to talk about issues when George Allen said “Macaca”? Hmmm?
Obama essentially said that every person in this country who owns a gun, or who goes to church, or who cares about national sovereignty, is a stupid hick who votes against his or her own best interest out of stupidity. So what you’re saying is that that’s NOT important, but “Macaca” IS? You have got to be kidding me.
