Re: Super Tuesday Predictions

I’m ready to throw my predictions in now.

No one will have enough votes to claim victory in either party.  McCain will win NY, NJ.  Romney will win CA.  Divide up the other states as you like.  This may be crazy, but the momentum shifts to Romney because of a CA win.  McCain is expected to win all of the big states – but won’t win all of them.  Romney will win many of the small states.

Conservatives are rallying around Romney now in order to stop the Double Talk Express – John McCain – the manchurian candidate of this race.  Maine’s caucuses are evidence to me that conservatives weren’t excited about Romney and probably still aren’t but fear of a McCain nomination is driving them out in droves.  It’s do or die time and conservatives know it.

On the Democrat side, again no claim to victory – Hillary and Obama will be close in delegates.  Obama will be seen as having some momentum because he will do well in California, when Hillary should have a big lead.
