Surber’s Advice for Rick October 24 2007
Now that Rick has been signed by the Inky to write a column, Don Surber has some advice for the novice pundit:
A selection:
First, don’t tell anyone but this is the easiest gig in the world. You get paid to piss people off. Not much, but it beats pissing people off for free.
Second, spelling counts. Also, double-check the facts. You are going to piss people off. Don’t give them cheap ammo.
Third, keep some humor handy. You are going to piss people off. It is hard for them to chase you with those pitchforks and torches when they are laughing.
