Casey Signs on to Limbaugh Condemnation

Senator Bob Casey went along with 40 other Democrat Senators as they condemned Rush Limbaugh for …not… attacking… the troops. Ahem. Let me try that again.

Forty-one Democrat Senators, including Bobby Casey, have condemned Rush Limbaugh because Rush called Jesse MacBeth a phony soldier. Who is Jesse MacBeth? A phony soldier. But since that’s not controversial, far-left Media Matters declared that Rush Limbaugh was actually talking about real soldiers. So Media Matters hooked up Harry Reid with the talking points, and Reid and friends decided to condemn Limbaugh, with Casey joining in with the Democrat chorus. Confusing enough?

My favorite part of the letter of condemnation:

Thousands of active troops and veterans were subjected to Mr. Limbaugh’s unpatriotic and indefensible comments on your broadcast.

Yeah, and they had absolutely no problem with it because they heard it in context and knew what Rush was talking about. Also, it’s good to see that the left is now declaring people to be “unpatriotic” after going bonkers over the implication that they might possibly be unpatriotic because of their, well, anti-American rhetoric.

Alex, I can’t properly categorize this post. It should be listed under both “US Senate” and “Stupidity”.
