As a journalist I’d like to ask our elected officials and party elite why they are holding a four day lavish convention of “The Pennsylvania Society” in New York City?!?!?!
I know it is a tradition, but in this recession where every dollar counts, isn’t it time to start a new tradition of having the Convention in PENNSYLVANIA?? I am certain that the hotels, restaurants and all their employees here would have appreciated the business.
And don’t you think it is much more difficult to convince big conventions to come to our state when you don’t even hold your own convention here? Sometimes the Good Old Boys who make up the Pennsylvania Political machines sure leave me puzzled.
BTW, tomorrow I will be at the Springfield Mall for some Christmas shopping with my children. Maybe I will see you all there.
Maybe she is running.
