“Thomas Jefferson” listened in on Bucks County’s Congressman Patrick Murphy “tele” townhall and tweeted some observations about HR 3200 (the health care socialization).
According to Rep Pat Murphy (D 8 PA) tele-town hall: “The health care bill just ‘tweaks’ the current system.” 1000 pages of tweak?
Congressman Pat Murphy (D8 PA) on tele-town hall says he’ll only vote for a deficit neutral bill, but he says HR 3200 is deficit neutral.
Hahahahaha! The Wall Street Journal calls it an illusion.
Congressman Pat Murphy (D,8, PA) says there are tort reform measures in the current bill in tele-town meeting.
That’s funny, because today, Dr Howard Dean said the Democrats have no guts to take on the lawyers.
“Here is why tort reform is not in the bill. When you go to pass a really enormous bill like that the more stuff you put in, the more enemies you make, right? And the reason why tort reform is not in the bill is because the people who wrote it did not want to take on the trial lawyers in addition to everybody else they were taking on, and that is the plain and simple truth. Now, that’s the truth.”
I appreciate Dr Dean’s honesty. Congressman Murphy, not so much.
