Intertubes Roundup: Sacred Cow edition July 8 2009
(1) Liberal sacred cow number 1 – pro-condom sex ed may cause an increase in teen pregnancy if the UK is any indication.
(2) Liberal sacred cow number 2 – Composting isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, particularly if you’re trying to compost a bunch of salty organic material in a hurry. Toronto’s “green bin” efforts have produced plant killing sludge rather than “black gold”.
(3) Liberal sacred cow number 3 – The top PACs in PA are dominated by Unions and Trial Lawyers, not so much by Big Business or amorphous right wing “special interests”. Mostly just liberal special interests.
(4) Lenny Dykstra (ex-Philly, ex-Met) has declared bankruptcy. I guess that will bring his stock option pontification career to an end.
(5) Safe, legal and a slammin’ good time- Are abortion parties the new thing? Via NRO. Who says the culture is in decline?
