Media Dirtbags Parrot Obama’s Talking Points March 18 2009
This “news” article, which appeared in today’s Trib, is an abomination:
President Barack Obama nominated a moderate Indiana judge Tuesday to serve on a Midwestern federal appeals court, his first step toward reshaping the federal judiciary and preparing for a possible Supreme Court opening.
If you read the entire article looking for the proof that this judge, David Hamilton, is moderate, you’ll come to realize that the ONLY reason they claim he’s moderate is that Barack Obama told them that he’s moderate. But that’s enough for the Associated Press to say, yes, he IS a moderate!
As further proof of this “moderate” claim, the Washington Post tells us that The People for the American Way, which is a demented far-left organization run by screwballs, thinks that David Hamilton is a moderate. That’s like asking a member of the KKK whether or not someone is racist.
Can you imagine a media outlet – any media outlet – using the opinion of, say, National Right to Life, as a headline on a story? Consider that NRTL said that abortion is murder. The analogous headline as in this Hamilton case would read, “President Obama supports murder”. Then the first paragraph of the story would read something like this:
President Barack Obama said Tuesday that he supports legalized murder, his first step toward reshaping the country and bringing his brand of hope and change to the nation.
Ridiculous, right? Outrageous! But for some reason it’s OK to do that in the liberal direction.
